This position requires project management skills and experience. The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross functional teams to achieve clear and strategic project outcomes using Schreiber Foods' project management process, Enterprise Project Management (EPM). This position follows the project management best practices of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and promotes them within Schreiber's EPM process.  Along with project management practices, this position will execute and promote change management practices focused on user adoption and sustainable results.  This position works closely with the EPM Director, senior business leaders, functional experts, and project team members around the world to deliver business results that advance our organization. This position is a great professional opportunity for someone who wants to drive critical business results, expand their Schreiber network, and enhance their overall business knowledge. 

We are hiring for 2 Project Manager positions.

This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hybrid work schedule is 2 days onsite at Home Office and the remainder from home.

What you'll do:

  • In this role, lead cross-functional teams for assigned projects. Ensure adherence to Schreiber Foods' project management process (EPM) in order to achieve desired project outcomes.
  • Manage day- to-day activities of the project team; guide them to understand and apply the EPM process.
  • Manage key project documentation and communication to the team and organization.
  • Lead development of a project charter, communication plan and overall project plan.
  • Manage team execution of the plan, any changes, deliverable completion, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
  • Close projects by documenting lessons learned and a scorecard.
  • As a member of the EPM team, provide global support for Schreiber Foods' project management process by leading formal process training events, general project support, EPM process advocacy, presentations, and reporting, auditing, coaching/mentoring and organizational communications.                        
  • Provide expertise in project management tools, exploiting the features of scheduling, resource planning, and work definition, base-lining and reporting.
  • Leverage expertise to support organizational project work and competency development.
  • Aid continuous improvement activities supporting the organizational maturity development of project management and the EPM process.
  • Together with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements.
  • Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups.
  • Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.                   

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's in engineering, operations, supply chain, business, IT, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of successful project management experience required.
  • Prefer 10 - 12+ years of project management experience with additional business/functional leadership experience.
  • Excellent leadership, relationship, and conflict management skills.
  • High attention to detail, highly disciplined, process driven and organized.
  • Strong Influential and facilitative leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, high initiative and results oriented.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • High energy, positive, motivating and strong team building skills.
  • Desire and ability to teach others.
  • Self-driven leader with ability to make decisions, build trust and facilitate negotiations.
  • Acute political and cultural awareness.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Strong or emerging expertise with MS Project.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; not required.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to quickly determine/recommend a course of action with limited information.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Must have a reliable internet connection (minimum 10 mb download speed) at home for remote and hybrid positions.
