The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is a highly adaptable, versatile, and strategic partner who will work with business areas as a trusted advisor. They will create a culture of shared ownership and organizational evolution, driving it to one of trust, creativity, innovation, and authenticity across the Global IT organization and Schreiber Foods' business functions. The BRM will champion the creation of cross-functional teams that develop holistic strategies to surface ideas that prioritize technology projects and ultimately enable execution of projects to deliver organizational value and meaningful results. Ultimately, the BRM will evolve culture, build partnerships, and drive value to satisfy and elevate Global IT's organizational purpose. 

 

This specific position will support our Enterprise Quality & Food Safety team as a primary focus as well as some other teams. 

 

This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hybrid work schedule is 2 days onsite at Home Office and the remainder working remotely or from home

What you'll do: 
Building Organizational Capabilities: 

  • Advance the BRM capability beyond the role and function, sharing ownership with the full Global IT team for practice and continual improvement. 

  • Champion a culture of shared ownership and constant organizational evolution. 

  • Elevate the importance of language across the organization as a crucial element to effectively communicate business priorities. 

  • Coach partners to articulate their vision and requirements to drive the organizational value, e.g., people, process, and technology. 

  • Leverage external network to identify and understand new and emerging trends. 

  • Create space for leaders and partners to understand different ways of executing tasks to bring a continuous improvement mindset. 

 
Strategic Thinking and Acting: 

  • Brings outside in thinking to inform how team can incorporate new and disruptive thinking. 

  • Develop deep domain knowledge of your business area's organizational functions. 

  • Understand business priorities and objectives to provide support with moving business initiatives through the idea intake process. 

  • Build cross-functional relationships for the convergence of value. 

  • Establish value management as a strategic organizational capability. 

  • Educate partners on the BRM mindset, e.g., powerful communications, approaches, roles, and capabilities.

  • Partner with leaders to identify opportunities to evaluate, sequence, and shape priorities to achieve strategic value and drive Schreiber's growth.

  • Innovate using knowledge and awareness of industry trends to identify new opportunities. 

  • Elaborate the strategic plans for partners to communicate Global IT's strategic capabilities. 

  • Monitor initiative progress to ensure expectations are aligned with results and ultimately creating value for the business. 

  • Ensure that project/program efforts are progressing against strategic plans and value creation objectives. 

  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization and within Global IT to ensure ownership and achievement of functional and business objectives. 

  • Communicate partner value by quantifying impacts and clearly articulating value realized.

What you need to succeed: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Science, Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, or related field preferred or equivalent related work experience. 

  • 8-10 years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, business, or Information Technology roles that supported EQFS functions. 

  • Expertise in QMS schemes (GFSI, ISO, etc..) and in developing and implementing quality systems and processes for a manufacturing environment. 

  • Experience in Quality Systems and procedures such as Non-Conforming Events, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Management Controls, Internal Audits. 

  • Proven track record of being a strategic partner, experience building relationships, understanding customer unmet needs, and ownership of both organizational strategy and values results. 

  • Experience partnering with leaders both inside and outside the organization to collaborate and ensure meaningful results from our strategic initiatives. 

  • Must have experience Optimizing organizational factors, such as brand, technology, innovation, and the human factors to amplify fit-for-purpose impact. 

  • Individuals must have the ability to proactively sense and anticipate changes affecting strategy in the environmental landscape including organizational improvements, technological advancements, and evolving organization needs. 

  • Must drive and ensure results across the organization based on our organization's people, process, and technology footprint. 

  • Must have a reliable internet connection (minimum 10 mb download speed) at home for remote and hybrid positions.
