Savage's Finance Intern will own projects driving bottom-line improvement. Success will require an exceptional level of engagement with our Operations Team. We will emphasize gaining an understanding of our businesses and customers in the real world which means engaging directly with frontline team members and interacting with a variety of stakeholders. This internship will require analytical skills and financial acumen along with an enthusiasm for growing relationships and understanding across the operational side of the organization. This internship will be for Summer, 2025 and based in our Corporate offices in Midvale, UT.

Responsibilities / Job Duties:

  • Establish project plan including:
  • Critical milestones
  • Key stakeholders
  • Resource needs
  • Present findings continuously throughout and comprehensively upon completion of the project
  • Maintain a full-time on-site presence throughout the internship
  • Travel may be required for on-site analysis and research

Qualifications:

  • Strong Computer Proficiency (Required)
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Must be able to ask productive questions, problem solve, and drive solutions
  • Time management skills (Ability to prioritize, be proactive, etc.)
  • P&L Exposure (Recommended)

Education:

  • Pursuing a degree in one of the following categories:
    • Accounting/Finance/Economics
    • STEM
    • Business/Entrepreneurship/Management
    • Data Science/Analytics
    • Industrial
  • 3.0 or Above GPA
