Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
• BLS - Basic Life Support required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required
• Tech Cert Verification - National required for applicable positions
• Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) required for certain units
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam might be required
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam essential for certain units within 72 hours of signing

Job Details
• Specialty: Registered Nurse
• ED 3x12 shifts
• Minimal RTO: 7 days or less
• EPIC-charting experience required
• Omnicell-Med system
• Minimum 5 year experience preferred (will consider 3 years if solid experience.)
• Telemetry skills
• Locals NOT ACCEPTED
• Local Radius: 50 miles
• Flu vaccine required by 11/1
• Flu season start 12/5, will need Flu vaccine; if medical or religious exemption then we will need exemption 2 weeks prior to start to get approved

Job Requirements
• NY License in hand
• ED nurses are required to read rhythms and must pass a hospital proctored test with >80% accuracy in rhythm identification and 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms
• Preferred: ACLS, Triage, Level 1 trauma

Additional Details
• Drivers License/State ID required
• ACLS from American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Must include the front and back of the cards, and the back must be signed.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification Required, preferably from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• PALS preferably from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• National Tech Cert as applicable to be uploaded here.
• Successfully passing the EKG/ECG test is required for certain units during orientation
• Primary source online verification for State License 1 Verification
• Travelers may be offered retest if overall score is below 85%, so long as all critical rhythms are identified, and they complete remediation through the Clinical Remediation team.
• FCRA Authorization Release - traveler must review and sign prior to start.
• 25lb lift assessment required based on job position
• Traveler must review Saratoga Hospital - ECG Study Guide prior to start.
