SAIC is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for our Hanahan, SC location. This position is 100% on site.
The Warehouse Specialist will Coordinate and expedite flow of material, assemble orders and preparing goods for shipment, recording shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability: receiving, unpacking materials/supplies and reporting damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record keeping purposes; and completing shipping and receiving reports. Move parts and assemblies within or between various buildings in accordance with Facility manager or facility staff engineer priorities. Arrange transfer of materials to meet production schedules; examine material to verify type specified for current project; and compute amount of material needed for specific job orders
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED equivalent and Two (2) years of experience.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Tools (Word and Excel in particular).
Required Security Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
