SAIC is currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented technician to support VMware vSphere, VMware Horizon, and Citrix VDI environment in Arlington, VA, supporting 24/7/365 operations for the DISA-JSP customer.
Position Overview:
- Perform O&M of VMware vSphere environment to include common tasks such as taking snapshots, updating ESXi hosts, and troubleshooting virtual machine performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot VMware Horizon 8 VDI environment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix Virtual Desktops and Apps environment.
- Troubleshoot customer virtual desktop configuration and performance issues.
- Leverage monitoring tools such as VMware vRealize Operations and Log Insight.
- Provide on-site support to unclassified and classified environments.

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Mix of onsite and telework.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years or more of experience.
- 1-5 years' experience supporting VMware vSphere or VMware Horizon or Citrix Virtual Desktops and Apps.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires an active DOD Top Secret clearance.
- Possess DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 Certification IAW established mandate prior to start of work - IAT Level II required (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP); Applicants not meeting this requirement will not be considered.
Desired Experience:
- VMware Certified Professional certification.
- VMware Horizon 8 Experience.
- Citrix Virtual Desktops and Apps Experience.
