SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking a Systems Engineer for Program Management Office to provide systems engineering and technical advisory (SETA) services to a United States Government (USG). SETA contractors provide analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the government's own engineering staff members. This customer is responsible for designing, building, and operating national security-related systems based in space, in the air, and on the ground.
- Provide technical supervision for the development of radiation hardened microelectronics and high-performance computing technologies
- Provide technical support by monitoring and recommending relevant technical projects
- Research and present information on the latest technology trends in microelectronics, fabrication packaging, as well high-performance computing architectures and provide recommendations to inform group strategies
- Engage groups across the government space to understand technical needs and derive requirements for future technology roadmaps and programs
- Support diverse new electronic device technology developments in many areas, including heterogeneous integration, photonics, etc
- Perform systems engineering analyses and develop supporting documentation for microelectronics and high-performance computing programs
- Willing to learn the associated tools for tasking, planning, researching and data routing of the microelectronics program
- Provide support to the drafting of statements of work and other acquisition documentation
- Support source selection processes
- Provide analysis of developers' deliverables to include periodic reports, test reports, and other technical report
- Provide support to the administration of projects, to include management, technical, and financial aspects
- Document results for distribution across all levels of decision-making authority
- Travel may be required <15 % of time
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with poly
- Bachelors degree with a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics major and at least 14 years of related experience or 12 with a Masters
- Basic knowledge of integrated circuits
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and effectively
- Ability to execute assignments with little supervision
- Ability to actively participate in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to cultivate internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Ability to generate and evaluate technical documents and reports
- Ability to work occasional surge support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
