SAIC is seeking a Special Security Representative to support the National Guard Bureau J2 security office and the larger Military Intelligence Service and Support (MISS) Program. Work is onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

Job Duties:

• Perform SSR functions in a SCIF, including as read-ons, read-offs, indoctrinations, travel briefings, debriefings, etc.
• Utilize Defense Information System for Security (DISS) system for PERSEC actions such as clearance verifications, visit requests, and SCI nominations.
• Travel to support Chief of NGB with SCI materials and set up secure rooms with appropriate countermeasures ahead of the visit.
• No telework, must be on-site.
• 90% of the work on site in the NGB SCIF within the Pentagon with occasional work at the NGB TARC facility.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors and six (6) years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.

Required Security Clearance:

• Active Top Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years' experience in military intelligence.
• Military intelligence, INFOSEC or COMSEC experience
• 2+ years' experience with JPAS or DISS
• 1+ year experience with JWICS systems
• 1+ year experience of special security programs
• 1+ year experience on an executive communications team or similar experience preferred
• 1+ year experience with sound masking and voice masking equipment preferred
• Experience with information security (INFOSEC) and courier duties
• 1+ years' experience in Army National Guard
• 1+ years' experience emergency operation center/ operations desk operations preferred
• Any certification from the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) training
• Familiarity with Security Training Education and Professionalization Portal (STEPP)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Able to travel independently and operate with little to no supervision
• Detail oriented self-starter/ action officer.
