SAIC is looking for a Software Test Engineer to start a exciting career opportunity supporting the federal government.

Details
  • Team you'll be joining: SAIC Identity and Data Sciences Laboratory (IDSL).
  • What we do: Design, build, and execute experiments to test and evaluate operational processes using biometric and non-biometric technologies.
  • Our client: Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) Biometrics and Identity Technology Center (BITC).
  • Onsite location: Maryland Test Facility (MdTF), Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
  • Hybrid flex work: Candidate will be required to support onsite at the MdTF in addition to remote testing at popup test locations with the continental US.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Required:

  • BS and 2+ years (4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust prior to starting.
  • Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for Web and API applications.
  • Adept at integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid communication skills and collaborative team player with a track record of success in a cross functional team environment.
  • Comfortable working with software development and test automation such as, but not limited to:
    • Programming languages: GO, SQL, R, Java, JavaScript.
    • Test Automation Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Appium.
    • Performance Testing Tools: Jmeter, Gatling.
    • API Test Tools: Postman.
    • Security Testing Tools: Burp Suite, Nessus, OWASP ZAP.
    • Other Tools: Bitbucket, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Rancher, Grafana, Jira, and Confluence.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
