SAIC has immediate need for a  C++ Software Developer, supporting the Precision Fires team for CCDC Aviation and Missile Center, Systems Simulation, Software and Integration Directorate (S3I) located on Redstone Arsenal, in Huntsville, Alabama. 

Job Duties:

• Requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, test, documentation, and support. 
• The candidate will also participate in software team meetings, hardware and software design reviews, and technical interchange meetings. The software engineering process also empowers the candidate to work with Cyber, Safety, Operations, and Test organizations to deliver high quality working software.
• Work in a team environment, with well-defined goals, supporting both new and legacy embedded systems. The candidate is able to receive timely feedback on software implementation by working directly with the customer, ensuring Agility and delivering a software product that fills immediate needs.  

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors and 2 years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.

Required Security Clearance:

• Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Required Skills:

• C/C++ and other Object Oriented Languages
• Agile Development Experience, specifically Scrum
• Continuous Integration and Automation
• OO programming and design, including writing unit tests
• Microsoft AzureDevOps
• Experience with Git, SVN, Linux, MS Visual Studio

Desired Skills:

• Experience as a product owner or scrum master, preference given to certifications in this area
