Supporting DOT's infrastructure, services, and application monitoring systems. The role will involve configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of monitoring tools, as well as the analysis and reporting of system performance.
Job Role Specific Requirements:
- Provide day-to-day monitoring operational support.
- Support technical projects involving monitoring applications.
- Oversee and coordinate recovery operations in the event of operational failure.
- Identify gaps in monitoring for supported environments.
- Recommend, develop, and maintain accurate documentation for supported environments.
- Support upgrading monitoring systems.
- Participate in on weekly on call rotations.
Qualifications
Top Qualifications, Skills, Experience or Certifications:
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience providing Service Management System administration services.
- Must have experience managing SMS development activities and be proficient in applying the SDLC and DevOps principles.
- Must have knowledge the current DOT SMS. (Currently Remedy.)
- Experience with administration and configuration of following monitoring applications OpenText Operations Bridge, OpenText UCMDB, OpenText Hyperscale Observability, Microsoft SCOM, WhatsUpGold, SiteScope, or any other enterprise Monitoring systems.
- Strong background in monitoring Windows, Linux, VMware, and cloud environments.
- Working experience managing enterprise monitoring infrastructure.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
