SAIC is seeking a Training Analyst to work at Hurlburt Field in Florida.

Job Description:

• Plan, prepare, quality check and submit air support requests
• Create operationally relevant, time relevant unit airspace plans and to prepare and submit airspace coordination means requests to the joint airspace control coordinator
• Receive and understand air tasking orders and airspace control orders
• Construct and display joint fires, joint airpower enabled common operational picture
• Plan and execute joint fires
• Plan and execute clearance of fires including clearance of airspace to enable clearance of fires
• Consider how best to exploit those supporting functions such as collection management, joint targeting and intelligence support to targeting
• The selected candidate will perform within a team construct to conduct joint air-ground integration training, JAGI training support, technical assistance, event analysis for all Army echelon above brigade Warfighter exercises and selected Army Service Component exercises
• They must understand and employ the principles of effective writing as well as writing for a scholarly military audience
• Note: This may occur in an environment with a participating BCD, with a BCD response cell, with doctrinal ABCS and TBMCS systems operating, or with various manual methods in the absence or degraded operation of doctrinal C2 systems. When augmented by Soldiers from an operational BCD, the contractor shall coordinate their participation with MCTP and FORSCOM as appropriate

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) year or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree

Qualifications:

• Must be well versed in Army and Joint doctrine, primarily in the areas of targeting, fires, airspace and intel
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Army C2 systems and be able to conduct training to audiences which include Senior Military Officials

Desired Qualifications:

• A well-qualified candidate will have successfully completed Joint Air Operations Command and Control Course at Hurlburt Field
• Preferred that the candidate will have served at least one job posting or assignment at one of the below:
  • Echelons Above Brigade
  • Battlefield Coordination Detachment, Joint Air Operations Center
  • Within the Theater Air Control System/Army Air Ground System

Clearance:

Candidate must have an active Secret clearance to start
