SAIC has an immediate opening for a technically minded Systems Integrator to support a high priority customer mission area with primary focus on integration and testing related to the customer's planned data transport architecture. The successful candidate will be mission-driven and able to quickly come up to speed on customer projects. The candidate must be self-motivated and independently produce documentation, as well as be able to work well in a team environment where coordination for inputs will be essential. This role has high-visibility outputs and requires someone with experience in planning and execution of technical system integration efforts as described in the requirements below. The customer has an aggressive schedule and requires someone that can hit the ground running on day 1.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI and Poly
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 14 years of experience
- Ability to work with the customer lead with a primary objective of developing a range of documentation needed for successful system development, integration, test and deployment
- Understanding of communications to include architectures for the movement of data across various paths
- Ability to meaningfully contribute to the planning and execution of system design, integration and field testing and training efforts
- Ability to lead technical documentation related to system requirements, system design documents, integration and test plans and reports, CONOP documents, etc
- Ability to work against aggressive schedules to help the customer with overall integration of mature technologies into successful systems related to data movement and testing of those systems to verify and validate they meet requirements
- Ability to collaborate with technical experts and at least be conversant in technology to be able to help develop the needed documents to support integration
Desired
- Experience as a lead integrator driving planning and execution of the full integration and test activities across the customer's architecture
