JOB DUTIES:

Are you a problem solver with a passion for technology? Do you have a strong background in VMWare and MS server support? Join our dynamic team and take on a variety of challenging and rewarding responsibilities, including:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for VMWare support in a development environment.
• Providing network integration, configuration, and administration support.
• Demonstrating expertise in testing, configuring, and documenting network systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during integration, implementation, and testing.
• Offering technical direction, guidance, and training to less experienced staff.
• Regularly interfacing with management, customers, and the team

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related major with 5 years' experience, or equivalent experience in a closely related field
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start.
• Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance after start
• Must have VMWare Experience
• Must have a Security + Certification
• Working knowledge of CISCO Networks and equipment for network and serial communications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to establish equipment configurations in support of operational requirements.
• Experience with firewall configuration, backup, and restoring systems.
• Strong computer and networking skills with knowledge of current military and commercial standards and specifications.
• MS Windows (Windows Server 2008 or 2012 preferred) Certificate of course completion (formal proctored test and Microsoft registration not required).
• MCITP (Enterprise Administrator or Server Administrator), MCSA, or MCSE can substitute for Windows Server certification.
• Cisco OS Certifications can substitute for MS certifications.
• DoD IAT 2 certified eligible.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• VMWare Certified Professional.
• Understanding of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) to secure network equipment.
• Ability to maintain network compliance with NETSEC directives (IAVA, IAVM).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Visio, Project, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
