SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Security Principal to assist in developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. In this role you will:
- Study and implement security regulations that apply to customer operations and relay them to supporting contractors
- Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
- Conduct security education classes and security audits
- Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
- Participate in development of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards
- Establish operational objectives and assignments
- Be involve in developing, modifying and executing customer policies which impact immediate operation(s)
- Participate in development of solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation. Challenges are often unique and solutions may serve precedent for future decisions.
- Work under consultative direction toward pre-determined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated.
- Serve as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives
Qualifications
- Current TS/SCI & Poly
- Bachelor's Degree
- Intimate working knowledge of customer security process
- Knowledge of ICD 705
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
- Minimum of 14 years of relevant security experience
- Ability to maintain periods of extended travel for 4-6 weeks
