The SAIC Hyperautomation team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior (CPLSA) Pega Certified System Architect (Developer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing Pega applications, with a deep understanding of Pega's architecture and best practices. Must have advanced knowledge, skills, and experience required to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex, enterprise-scale Pega applications. CPLSAs are responsible for ensuring that Pega solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with business and IT requirements.
This is a fully remote job that can be worked anywhere within the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of Pega-based solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and technical requirements of the client.
- QA the development and implementation of Pega applications, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery.
- Provide technical leadership to the development team, offering coaching and guidance on Pega best practices and standards.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega best practices and coding standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues within Pega applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Design and implement integrations with “other” (Client) systems and applications using Pega connectors and services.
- Mentor and train junior developers and other team members on Pega development and best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and user manuals, as required.
- Ensure all Pega applications comply with internal and client organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
· Must be a U.S. citizen
· Candidates must have a Public Trust clearance and pass Vetting with NOAA agency before starting
· Must have “current “Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CPLSA) certification.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in latest Pega Platform, including Pega 8.7, PegaRULES Process Commander (PRPC), and related technologies.
· Project Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering complex Pega projects.
· Bachelor's and 9 years or more experience; Masters Degree and 7 years or more experience.
· Strong Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Pega architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
· Integration Skills: Experience with integrating Pega applications with external systems and databases.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Proficient in SAIL, Process Model, Records, Reports, and Deployment.
· Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
· Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
· Bonus Experience:
· Familiarity with modern software architecture patterns such as microservices and containerization.
· Experience in Agile development methodologies.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
· Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
· Understanding of Python use and development.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
