As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading and driving the data, analytics, and artificial intelligence strategy for our Innovation Factories. You will play a crucial role in leveraging data and AI technologies to drive business insights, optimize operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making within the IFT's.

• Drive the implementation of advanced analytics and AI solutions to optimize operational efficiency and improve decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity
• Drive the adoption of standard platforms and technologies across SAIC to enable scalability and interoperability                                                                                                                             
• Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the data, analytics, and AI teams
• Drive business value realization through the effective use of data, analytics, and AI technologies
• Translate complex analytical concepts into understandable and actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Act as a champion for the power of data science, promoting its capabilities and successes to internal and external audiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of experience
• Extensive experience in a senior data science role, including managerial experience.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, predictive analytics, and data mining.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate the
  value of data science to diverse audiences
• Proficient in data science tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
