SAIC is seeking a skilled and motivated RF Engineering Technician to join our growing team at Eglin AFB, Fl. As an RF Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development, testing, and deployment of cutting-edge RF technologies and systems. You will work closely with experienced engineers to bring innovative solutions to life.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot RF circuits and systems, including amplifiers, filters, mixers, and antennas.
• Conduct RF measurements using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and other test equipment.
• Analyze test data, identify root causes of problems, and document findings in detailed reports.
• Assist engineers in the design and development of new RF products and systems.
• Build and test prototypes, perform experiments, and collect data to validate designs.
• Develop test procedures and documentation for RF products and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of test data, procedures, and results.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest RF technologies and industry standards.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers and other technicians in a team environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an RF Technician or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of RF theory and principles.
• Proficiency in using RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
• Experience with RF circuit design and analysis software (e.g., ADS, Microwave Office).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documents.
• Excellent soldering and assembly skills for surface-mount and through-hole components.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
