SAIC seeks an Account Manager to join an exciting program supporting solution development for challenging problems. Responsibilities include interfacing with multiple customers and engineers to ensure technical issues are resolved consistent with contract and schedule requirements.

  • The successful candidate is a proactive, forward-leaning self-starter able to work in a fast-paced organization spread across diverse technical areas in the computer networking and telecommunication fields.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on projects for both customers and project teams.
  • Provides project leadership, guidance and support to development teams on technical and programmatic requirements, as well as, support requirements analysis and derivation tasks.
  • Advises on viability of alternative approaches.
  • Applies expertise leading and contributing to technical exchange meetings, creating and maintaining risk registers and mitigation plans, and assigning and closing action items for the customer's technical projects.
  • Understand and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with various digital records regulations.
  • Work with engineers to retrieve data from proprietary record management database.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI and Poly prior to starting
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 4 years of training and/or experience performing system integration activities, to include interface management and requirements development and documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, tact and judgement are required
  • Ability to manage diverse workloads and effectively prioritize multiple competing demands on the individual's time
  • A proven ability to work independently without oversight on task completion, coordinating with customer stakeholders as needed
  • Technical aptitude and demonstrated problem solving experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
