SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our team and propel the organization forward, providing support in Fort Meade, MD. As a Process Engineer, you will be providing process improvement (PI), engineering methodologies, and principles to effectively improve and align Enterprise-level processes. You will also facilitate project teams in accomplishing project activities and objectives; and coordinate the transfer of new processes and practices to project teams by providing group facilitation.

Responsibilities include:

•       Coordinating and scheduling process assessments.
•       Performing tracking and reporting of remediation solutions.
•       Maintaining documentation of known issues and investigative discoveries to aid in future investigations.
•       Lead assessment teams in conduction both formal and informal assessments.
•       Analyze assessment results and make improvement recommendations.
•       Lead Process Improvement efforts utilizing CMM/CMI or other similar process models.
•       Interpret and promote the use of Process Improvement best practices.
•       Ensure that processes are established and documented to support the application and institutionalization of sound systems engineering discipline and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

•      Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
•      Bachelor's and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Master's and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
•      Familiarity with collection and processing to include dataflow, analysis, report production, and customer feedback.
•      Experience with Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio, and Python based Lab Bench/Jupyter notebooks.
