SAIC is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer to fill a critical position on the LANDMARK AOS program in Chantilly, VA. LANDMARK AOS is SAIC large SETA Prime contract, supporting the customer's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.
As the Mission Integration Engineer, you will provide specialized engineering expertise supporting project management and integration of multi-intelligence (multi-INT) software services to meet urgent National Security priorities. SAIC's client is tasked with leading the integration of mission focused tools to foster increased efficiency, automation and information sharing. You will also assist and advise Government managers responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Ground Enterprise. As the Mission Integration Engineer, you will support integrated architecture development, solution engineering and operational integration of multi-INT tools and data across the full breadth of the National Security enterprise.
A successful candidate in this position will bring a record of application of agile systems engineering methods and creative thought-leadership to mature and develop mission solutions to pressing intelligence needs.
Job Responsibilities to include:
- Exercise thought leadership and practical engineering application by leveraging extensive experience with agile software lifecycle management practices to assist the Program Management Office with solution engineering, program planning and mission integration of delivered capabilities and data flows.
- Guide resolution of compliance challenges for datasets acquired under diverse authorities (E.O. 12333, Law Enforcement Sensitive, commercial data, et al.).
- Provide expertise in engineering and integrating cross-domain solutions to enable data sharing across stakeholders at diverse security levels and using different authorities.
- Integrate stakeholder and system requirements, facilitate discussion and understanding of schedule. impacts and trades, and enhance the digital engineering culture for the customer's System Engineering Group.
- Engage with other systems engineers directly supporting programs to enhance cross-program integration, track solution delivery progress and assist in developing digital work products.
- Participate in and contribute to technical and programmatic interchanges; identify and resolve issues; and provide engineering and technical advice to the customer to achieve innovative capabilities.
- Provide technical expertise to support the planning of future systems and architectures.
- Develop briefings and documentation material, including architecture views and technical roadmaps.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in business, engineering, science, or related discipline and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience.
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
- Broad systems engineering experience (e.g. system architecture and design, integration of system requirements, CONOPS, systems verification to develop solutions, use of schedule and configuration management in support of program execution).
- Demonstrated expertise in engineering and integrating cross-domain data flows.
- Knowledge and proficiency capabilities integrating data management capabilities that conform to various sets of compliance requirements based on the source of the data.
- Experience working with Policy, Compliance and General Counsel teammates to validate requirements for compliant data management capabilities.
- Experience or familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework Environment (SAFe).
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate in a dynamic, fast paced team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently execute work.
- Strong oral and written communications ability on significant technical matters often requiring coordination within a high tempo environment.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Desired Qualifications:
- Direct experience engineering cross-domain data flows compliant with diverse authorities (E.O. 12333, Law Enforcement Sensitive, commercial data, et al.)
- Knowledge of US Government systems including, but not limited to: MARS, FADE, THRESHER, ChatSurfer, Bodhi.
