SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst with excellent management and people skills to work with a diverse team of Department of Defense (DoD), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), other Federal Agencies, and security technology industry groups on issues related to the TSA mission space and focused on the selection, development, verification, and validation of air cargo screening solutions against emergent threats.
Candidates will need to be located in Panama City, Florida or Washington D.C.
This role will support the adaptation and evaluation of existing commercial solutions to safeguard the traveling public and will require technical acumen to assist the Program Management Team to oversee a complex, multi-disciplinary program in an innovative, dynamic, and dispersed work environment. Ability to articulate and communicate across all levels of program personnel up to and including senior executives.
Responsibilities:
- Programmatic support to TSA federal employees.
- Assistance with logistics for new technology solutions (purchase/acquisition, shipping, tracking, configuration management, inventory management, etc.)
- Assistance as required with technical communication and project management activities.
- Development of documentation supporting the entire life cycle of transportation screening equipment.
- Creation of memos, reports, and meeting minutes, and archive maintenance of relevant files for the team.
- Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors and three (3) years or more experience; Masters and one (1) year of experience; four (4) years of related experience considered in lieu of degree.
Qualifications:
- DoD logistics lifecycle experience.
- DHS/TSA logistics support experience (helpful but not required)
- Excellent communication skills; inter-personal; organizational and detail oriented.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Microsoft Project) including word-processing, presentation, and spreadsheet and integrated software applications.
- Thrives in a deadline-driven environment.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple project assignments.
- Experience with complex technical programs to include design, production, fielding, test and evaluation and training.
- Experience with new technology evaluation, research and analysis of perimeter security and threat awareness/detection (helpful but not required).
- Travel may be required.
Clearance:
Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
