SAIC is seeking a Junior Knowledge/Collaboration Engineer to support PEO IWS 1TE in Washington, DC.

Note: This position is onsite at our SAIC office in Washington, DC.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Knowledge/Collaboration Engineer will work with our team of T&E professionals to provide data analytic and visualization solutions for Government clients. The selected candidate will work to maintain an established cloud deployed web application using VueJS, C# .NET, and SQL Server.  The candidate should also have experience with SharePoint, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other systems using common data services and API integrations. The candidate should be able to identify desirable enhancements, technology issues, and perform business process re-engineering. 

JOB DUTIES: 

Web Application Management:

• Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js
• Building modular and reusable components and libraries
• Optimizing applications for performance
• Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows
• Develop/maintain code related to the various applications existing in the environment
• Use version management and issue tracking software to document all changes (GIT and/or CodeCommit)

SharePoint Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, lists, and custom components.
• Implement custom workflows and forms using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.

Power Platform Development:

• Design and develop applications in a Dataverse environment using Power Apps to meet business requirements.
• Implement flows in Power Automate to automate business processes across integrated apps and services.
• Build data models and generate insights using Power BI, ensuring decision-makers have accurate and timely information.

Solution Integration:

• Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 tools, platforms, and third-party applications.
• Ensure seamless data connectivity between SharePoint, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other systems using common data services and API integrations.

Maintenance & Support:

• Monitor the health and performance of sites and execute maintenance activities.
• Address user queries, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes promptly.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

• Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, MIS, or other data analytics related field and 0 years' experience. Additional years' experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with any of the following areas preferred:
  • Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js
  • Building modular and reusable components and libraries
  • Optimizing applications for performance
  • Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows
  • Develop/maintain code related to the various applications existing in the environment
  • Use version management and issue tracking software to document all changes (GIT and/or CodeCommit)
  • Experience integrating different data sources into Dataverse and SharePoint (via PowerPlatform connectors).
  • Experience with agile and iterative software development methodologies.
  • Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
