SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic IT Systems Engineer to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer business critical systems including Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Provide support to DTAMM user community in the use of Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate requirements into hardware and software specification.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
Desired Education:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and five (5) years of IT systems engineering related or equivalent experience or Master's degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and three (3) years of IT systems engineering related or equivalent experience
Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
