SAIC is seeking an IT System Integration Principal candidate to support the Secret and Below Releasable Environment (SABRE) program in the Air Force Cloud One Common Computing Environment (CCE) under the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center Office for Network Integration (AFLCMC/HNI). Air Force Life Cycle Management Center to continue our current work building out the Secret and Below Releasable Environment (SABRE) program within Air Force Cloud One. SABRE is a key component of the DoD Operational Mission Partner Environment (MPE) and the DoD strategy on how to send, secure and share critical data to United States and its global mission partners as quickly possible, reduce the cost of maintaining multiple bilateral and multilateral networks, and secure the mission partner ally enterprise networks and information domains against constantly evolving near peer adversaries. SABRE also serves as a pathfinder in developing Zero-Trust (ZT) policy at the DoD and Service-levels on the combatant use of Information Domains as a contested warfighting environment and the future of data-centric operations.

This position is 100% remote. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define discrete systems with processes to link together complex systems and components with software applications to perform as a coordinated whole.
  • May include analysis of transition planning, intelligence formation requirements, and may assist in the development of architecture baselines.
  • Assist with and lead development of integration and migration plans/schedules.
  • Act as an advocate for internal and external clients as the ultimate authority on the architecture design to address client business problems.
  • Support business process improvements or system analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements.
  • Provide expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements.
  • Work with leadership team to define and develop business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct analysis of business processes: current state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, best practices identification, organizational assessment, and other related tasks.
  • Plan and implement process improvements, including: future state design, change management, and transition planning.  
  • Interface with all areas of project including customer, computer services, and client services. Client may be internal or external to company.
  • Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established standards and agency guidelines.
  • Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance.
  • Work directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet guidelines.
  • May coordinate with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.  
  • Conduct client interviews.

Qualifications

Required Clearance:

  • Interim Secret clearance required to start;  Ability to obtain a Secret clearance to maintain employment.  
  • US Citizenship

Required Certifications:

  • Security + certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's and nine (9) years' experience; Master's and seven (7) years' experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree

Required Qualifications:

  • Broad range of skills and a breadth of knowledge in several IT disciplines including systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols, and general problem solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe or other modern software development methods/practices
  • Experience supporting USAF or USA software development projects
  • Experience with Design Thinking
  • Experience in DoD Information Domains
  • Experience supporting software migration efforts
  • Experience proposing, planning and directing multiple technical project
  • Ability to interact with high level customers and collaborate with key stakeholders on the proposed solution for project planning
  • Hands-on experience with project planning to include initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling to closure
  • Documented experience with project scope planning, including setting timelines and designing work breakdown structure

Desired Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree; preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline
  • Experience supporting USAF or USA software development projects
  • Experience supporting software migration efforts

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
