SAIC is seeking to hire an IT Manager to support our San Diego, CA location. This role is a Hybrid/Remote role where it is expected to be in the office 3 days throughout the week. 

JOB DUTIES:

• Strategy & Planning:  Perform analysis, develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies that support the company's objectives, focusing on scalability, reliability, security and cost-efficiency.
• Network and System Management:  Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, firewalls, server systems, storage solutions and cloud services.
• System Reliability:  Ensure high availability and uptime of critical systems through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery planning.
• Security Management:  Implement and maintain security measures to protect against threats, including acting as the liaison between local technology resources and enterprise security policies which entails the authoring and maintenance of NIST 800-171 compliance documentation.
• Project Management:  Lead infrastructure-related projects from conception to execution, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Team Leadership:  Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals including the System Administration of CI/CD DevOps pipeline systems, and Operating System baseline development.
• Compliance and reporting: Ensure compliance with industry standards and practices; provide regular updates and reports to senior managers.
• Problem Solving:  Address and resolve complex technical issues minimizing downtime and providing high system availability.
• Business Support: Provide necessary infrastructure, oversight and documentation support for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and Nine (9) years or more relative experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management or a similar role.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start.
• Practical working understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban using Jira and other Atlassian-based CI/DC tools.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• An in-depth working knowledge of coding using powershell and other IaC related scripting languages.
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) or Windows Deployment Services (WDS).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certifications such as MCSE, Security+, ITIL, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other related certifications are a plus.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
