SAIC is seeking an IT Analyst to support the US Army in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.
This is a hybrid position. Two days on site are required.
IT Help-Desk type role to assist users with daily activities both in the office and from their remote sites.
Provide technical support to government customer Product Management Office (PMO) staff for their laptops and iPhones to include software (with approval from Picatinny Arsenal NEC), hardware and network connectivity.
Assist with installation, configuration and troubleshooting systems for all personnel.
Work with printer issues, MiFi/WiFi access, laptop password resets, etc.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years prior experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree
Required Skills:
- Strong customer service skills and personality as this is a “help desk” type role where the individual will be troubleshooting IT issues and dealing with people who are stressed and frustrated
- Experience with Army / Microsoft 365 packages
- Strong background with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio)
- Previous experience with configuration of network printers, scanners and drives
- Past IT support of some kind in an organized environment
- Ability to take direction from the over-arching IT Network support Team at Picatinny Arsenal who dictate many of the rules and processes
- Ability to work under pressure with over 50 users needing assistance
Required Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+
- Windows 10 Certification
Required Clearance:
- An Interim Secret Clearance is required to begin employment; a Secret Clearance is required to maintain employment.
