To address the growing demands within the Department of Defense, SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Integration Engineer to support the data, analytics, digital, and AI capabilities of our Digital and AI Team.  As we embark on a new initiative leading the design, solutioning, and operations of integrated Enterprise IT solutions, we are dedicated to delivering world-class AI-enabled capabilities and enabling data-driven decision making to global missions across the Department, Services, and Combatant Commands.

 

The Ideal candidate will be adept at managing customer relationships, driving operational excellence, and fostering continuous improvement across all service areas in a global environment.

 

Your Responsibilities Include:

·         Provides critical mission integration services to the government customer supporting mission and project requirements.

·         Defines discrete systems with processes to link together complex systems and components with software applications to perform as a coordinated whole.

·         Performs Systems Engineering activities related to Information Technology or Engineering including systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols, and general problem-solving to support the analysis and engineering of systems.

·         system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system & op. performance analysis, Lifecycle cost analysis & estimation, decision analysis and physical configuration analysis (PCA).

·         Participates and/or conducts an analysis of transition planning, intelligence formation requirements, and development of architecture baselines, to include the development and updating of AI Technology roadmaps and other documentation as required

·         Assists with and leads development of integration and migration plans/schedules. Acts as an advocate for internal and external clients as the ultimate authority on the architecture design to address client business problems.

·         Supports business process improvements or systems analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements.

·         Understands and can translate initial organization integration requests into fully scoped and actionable use cases for customers.

·         Supports ideas and requests of large-scale digital products from conception to completion, working cross-functionally with Product teams composed of Engineering, web applications and UX Design.

·         Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

·         Performs the analysis to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications.

·         Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.

·         Document failover and continuity of operations (COOP) plans for data systems and participate in testing failover capabilities as required.

·         Applies a combination of expert engineering knowledge of enterprise IT solutions to design, develop and/or implement solutions to ensure they are consistent with enterprise architecture policies and industry best practices.

·         Researches and evaluates capabilities, tools, and products against operational requirements and introduces them to the enterprise in alignment with IT strategy.

·         Ensures appropriate compliance regulations are established and upheld throughout the lifecycle of products and systems.

·         Employs DevSecOps when developing, testing, and maintaining data pipelines.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

You Bring to The Table:

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT/technical field and two (2) years or more experience OR Master's and zero (0) year experience in designated field. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 

·         Security+ and/or CCNA Certification.

·         Experience working in an Agile Community, using Agile methodology for product and project management.

·         Demonstrated ability to work with, guide, and collaborate across a multi-organizations and multi-disciplined team to deliver integrated solutions and mutually beneficial outcomes.

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

·         US citizenship and Secret security clearance is required. Must be able to obtain, or maintain, the security clearance as required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

We'd Love It If You Also Have:

·         ITIL certification is a plus.

·         SAFe, Agile/Scrum/PMP certification(s) is ideal.

·         Familiarity with working with API's and JSON and XML file formats.

·         Familiarity with business intelligence software applications such as Qlik, Tableau, etc.

·         Experience working in a DoD environment supporting Combatant Commands and Joint Staff in an enterprise IT environment, across multiple domains and various clearance levels.

·         Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other government agencies and mission partners.
