- Design, implement, and maintain multi-vendor network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs in both connected and air-gapped environments.
- Provision, configure, and automate bare metal servers using PXE/iPXE, BMC interfaces (e.g., iDRAC/iLO), and tools like Ansible or custom scripts.
- Deploy and scale Hyper-Converged Infrastructure platforms (e.g., OpenShift, RKE2, Harvester) on bare metal systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Integrate, configure, and maintain core infrastructure services such as DNS, NTP, Certificate Authorities, Identity Management (IdM/AD), and internal registries.
- Perform system integration, testing, and validation of complex communications systems, supporting lab and field environments.
- Execute trade space analysis for COTS hardware/software solutions to meet SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power, and Cost) constraints.
- Troubleshoot hardware, network, and OS-level issues across diverse platforms and participate in root cause analysis and remediation.
- Support and maintain multi-level security (MLS/MILS) environments and contribute to cross-domain and security-hardened system configurations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings to support system builds and upgrades.
