SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data and Information Systems Lead for our SCITES 2 Task Order. The Data and Information Systems Lead will be responsible for ensuring that IT and cyber systems are operationally relevant, data-centric, and fully integrated into USSOUTHCOM decision support frameworks at the echelon of command. A current Secret clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• IT and Cyber Systems Accountability: Oversee and ensure the operational relevance and performance of IT and cyber systems across the SCITES 2 Task Order.
• Data-Centric Integration: Ensure that all information systems are data-centric and seamlessly integrated into USSOUTHCOM decision support frameworks.
• Decision Support Frameworks: Integrate data and information systems into decision support frameworks to enhance command-level decision-making.
• Intuitive User Experience: Deliver seamlessly integrated information systems and technology characterized by an intuitive user experience, ensuring the right users can access the right data at the right time for the right reasons.
• Performance Maintenance: Increase and maintain the performance of IT and cyber systems as required by mission needs.
• Data Services Management: Manage data-centric services, data buses, and common data interfaces to ensure shareability with data catalogs.
• Knowledge Management Alignment: Align data and information systems initiatives with CENTCOM's knowledge management practices.
• Proactive System Monitoring: Monitor and proactively manage data and information systems to ensure continuous operational effectiveness.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that all systems comply with relevant security and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Must possess a current Secret clearance.
• Experience: Extensive experience in delivering seamlessly integrated information systems, ensuring high performance of IT and cyber systems, and aligning systems with decision support frameworks.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of data-centric technologies, data buses, common data interfaces, and knowledge management practices.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute complex IT and cyber projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in IT and cyber system management tools and methodologies.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Systems Engineering). Advanced degree preferred. & 18+ years of experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with USSOUTHCOM or similar combatant commands.
• Prior experience in data and information systems management, including knowledge management and data integration practices.
• Certifications in relevant areas such as ITIL, CISSP, or PMP.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Occasional travel may be required to support mission objectives.

SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
