SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst for a (HYBRID-REMOTE) role out Orlando, FL. (Candidate must be local to Orlando and be onsite 1-2 days/week).
Job Duties/responsibilities:
- Conduct reviews of security requirements and certification and accreditation issues associated with Live, Virtual, Constructive – Operational Training (LVC-OT) systems, networks, and ranges.
- Serve as a member of the LVC Authorizing Official cyber security staff, with responsibility for ensuring Information Assurance and Computer Security is incorporated in full life cycle of systems in computer and network infrastructure at all classification levels.
- Develop, improve, and implement Computer Network Defense (CND) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) programs on multiple unclassified and classified networks and systems.
- Support certification and accreditation processes, such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), Continuous Monitoring (CM), and assists in development and implementation of plans of action and milestones (POA&M).
- Develop and report relevant metrics and information on Information Assurance, RMF, CM, CND, and security control status of networks and systems.
- Develop and provide Information Assurance and CND training, guides, and instructions.
- Independently plan, organize, prioritize, and develop schedules to deliver program objectives on schedule and within budget while adhering to DoD regulations and changing situation.
- Performs Strategic Planning Management and Digital Forensics from the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Framework. This work is typically categorized as specialized cybersecurity functions, including red-teaming and ethical hacking; cloud security architecture; digital forensics; reverse engineering of malware; enterprise cyber architecture; consultative; and other high-level, specialized, and other advanced, specialized, and/or highly independent functions not typically covered in other job sub-families.
- Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, cloud service provider selection (including SLA authorship, development, assessment), implements application and data migration techniques and tools for the most efficient and simple solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity and security requirements.
- Involved in a wide range of security issues including architecture, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Researches, evaluates, and recommends new security tools, techniques, and technologies and introduces them to the enterprise in alignment with IT security strategy.
- Utilizes COTS/GOTS and custom tools in order to scan, identify, contain, mitigate, and remediate vulnerabilities and intrusions of physical security and cybersecurity systems, processes, policies, etc. Applies a combination of expert engineering knowledge of enterprise IT and security solutions to design, develop and/or implement solutions to ensure they are consistent with enterprise architecture security policies and support full spectrum military cyberspace operations.
- Writes reports specifying in technical detail how assessments were performed and what mitigating and remediating activities were performed.
- Translates and/or authors technical documentation in a way which is easily understood, in layman's terms, the work being performed, and the outcome of the work being performed.
- This job sub-family is intended to encapsulate very specialized and advanced cybersecurity work.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's and nine (9) or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree
- Must be a US citizen, minimally possess a Secret clearance and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret
- Must currently possess an IAM LvII Certification (CISM, CISSO, CPTE, CySA+, FITSP-A, GCSA, CISA, CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, GSLC, and/or GSNA.)
- Experience with Information Assurance and Cybersecurity
- Experience with DIACAP and RMF
- Working knowledge of eMASS
- Experience with Operational Air Force systems
