SAIC is  seeking to hire a Configuration Analyst professional to integrate with our customer at their work site in Point Mugu, CA. No remote work is planned, however, some work from our Ops Office in Oxnard, CA, is anticipated. This position will be responsible for:

• Tracking and reporting status of product design changes and the effects of the overall system.
• Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications.
• Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
• Prepare deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met.
• Review all issued document change requests, document change notices and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness and proper signatures.
• Submit engineering changes to customers for review and approval; maintains records and submits reports regarding status.
• Prepare configuration verification audit record sheets for all program projects.

Qualifications

Required education and experience:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Required skills:

• Configuration Management (CM) experience.
• Working knowledge and appreciation of technical principles, theories, processes, and concepts of CM.
• General knowledge of other related disciplines. 

Required clearance:

• Must have an active Secret security clearance.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
