Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day system administration support to assigned systems, new deployments of systems, test, and evaluation of hardware and maintain system documentation
• Analyze systems and perform usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements
• Install, configure, and maintain the organization's Linux Server instances
• Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory
• Maintain operating efficiency and stability, ensure the security and integrity of all systems and data, and respond to outages and other issues
• Work with the formulation and/or implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to database management, security maintenance, and utilization
• Consult with other engineers on issues relative to procedures, technical problems, and methodologies
• Develop and enhance processes and technical documentation; create back-up procedures, test plans and reports Operations experience into an enterprise setting, including demonstrated O&M experience (advanced troubleshooting, patching, hardening, etc.)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BS and 14+ years experience (4 years experience in lieu of degree)
• Ability to obtain and maintain and public trust requiring US Citizenship
• Familiarity with fundamentals such as DNS, DHCP, firewall, VPN, and PKI
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs
• Experience in Virtualization/Hypervisors (VMware, Nutanix, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Containers
• Knowledge of Ansible Platform with the ability to manage, maintain and support customers with playbooks
• Experience with information security frameworks such as device encryption, anti-virus tooling, digital certificates, security policies, etc.
• Experience in shell scripting in Red Hat Linux environment
• Active Directory Architect/Administrator
• Experience with Windows
