Introduction

Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).  The Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group of SAIC is seeking a Computer & Information Systems Lead to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.

SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation's information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.

Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).

Job Description

The Computer & Information Systems Lead will be responsible for assisting the Computer & Information Systems Manager (CISM) oversee multiple engineering teams, ensuring effective program and project management, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

You will work closely with the CISM to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the program's products and services as part of managing DCSA's enterprise application and database systems and capabilities.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, conceptual thinker with strong professional experience and demonstrated proficiency in systems engineering, complex system design, and integration. Your expertise will be essential in driving application and database engineering efforts and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

· Analyze architectures, processes, and existing enterprise applications/databases to identify and recommend changes aimed at increasing security, performance, and compliance.

· Leverage subject matter expertise and problem-solving methodologies to generate solutions alleviating strategic roadblocks and create innovative solutions for ambiguous problem-sets.

· Assist in coordinating technical actions taking place within the enterprise application and database teams, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and security.

· Assist in the management of different projects, ensuring achievement of project goals, objectives, and desired outcomes.

· Help to organize, update, and maintain information repositories including documentation, master schedules, collaboration tools and a wide range of strategic and tactical information.

· Develop and document enterprise application and database administration standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide updates quarterly or as tasked.

· Coordinate the implementation of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for enterprise applications and databases.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

It is required that the Computer & Information Systems Lead have the following qualifications:

  • BA/BS.
  • 9 or more years of relevant experience, or additional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Experience and knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and Windows Server Operating Systems including Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, ACLs, and DNS.
  • DoD 8670 IAT Level II (ex. CompTIA Security + w/CE).
  • Relevant Computing or Database Computer Environment (CE) Certifications.

Desired Qualifications

  • TS/SCI.
  • Expert understanding of client-server networking, application tier integration and technology security/compliance management.
  • Experience supporting project scheduling and managing projects; familiarity with the Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Prior experience working with ServiceNow.
