SAIC is seeking a highly organized and versatile Communications Integration Specialist to join our team supporting a Department of Defense contract. This role combines elements of communications analysis, cross-project coordination, and technical writing, with a focus on prevention and well-being domains.
The ideal candidate will be a communications generalist with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, adept at integrating various aspects of our work, creating cohesive, high-quality deliverables, and leveraging new technologies, including AI, to enhance organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Synthesize complex information from multiple sources into coherent written products and presentations.
- Create and deliver clear, concise, high-level client briefings using PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
- Develop and disseminate meeting After Action Reports (AARs).
- Maintain consistent style and branding across all organizational products.
- Interface with graphic designers on style and branding to ensure consistency.
- Use and maintain templates, styles, layouts, and themes for organizational documents.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring smooth integration of various team efforts.
- Support the organization's initiatives in prevention and well-being domains.
- Manage and organize information using Microsoft productivity suite and SharePoint.
- Explore and implement new technologies to streamline communication processes and increase organizational efficiency.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public health, or a related field and 3+ years of experience, or a Master's degree and 1+ year of experience. An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a US Citizen
- 3-5 years of experience in communications, project coordination, and/or content creation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and proof and edit the work of team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of document design principles, including the use of templates, styles, and themes.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their applications in organizational communication.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with graphic design principles and software.
- Experience in health communications or public health initiatives.
- Knowledge of prevention and well-being domains.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Experience working in or with government agencies.
- Advanced skills in leveraging AI for organizational efficiency and communication enhancement.
- Experience implementing new technologies in a professional setting.
