JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Analyzes technical documents change requests to elicit software development requirements

·       Identifies unclear requirements and develops appropriate questions to elicit clarification

·       Creates and updates excel-based reporting forms

·       Reviews reporting scenarios and datasets to make recommendations for actionable changes or

·       Performs data analysis to provide insight for requirements; respond to programmatic questions; or to test application functionality

·       Reviews and simulates customer and end-user feedback scenarios to confirm software issues and recommends necessary changes

·       Documents and updates requirement plans, Jira project software, test scenarios, and other supporting material

·       Provides integral support in the design, development, testing, verification and validation, documentation, and implementation web applications

·       Provides project management support including, as needed

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY:

·       Bachelors and three (5) years or more experience; Masters and one (2) years or more experience

·       Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

·       Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail

·       Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development

·       Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources

·       Experience in data analysis and data visualizations

·       Strong experience in MS Excel

·       Excellent listening, interpersonal, and communication skills

·       Experience working in team-oriented, collaborative environment

·       Experience or interest in climate change policy and/or greenhouse gas mitigation

·       Familiarity with software application development and/or user experience design is beneficial, but not required.

·       Experience working with Agile development principles beneficial, but not required.

·       Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust

 

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
