Join SAIC as a Junior Business Data Analyst in Washington, DC!  This role will involve working with a dynamic team of Data Analysts and Technicians to drive data-driven decision-making to support IT capital planning processes, collaborate closely with leadership stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and alignment with strategic goals, and the development and implementation of data-driven initiatives within the organization.

This role is hybrid and requires 1-2 days per week in the office upon customer's request.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics) and 5 years of experience in business data analysis or a related field; Or a Master's degree in a relevant field and 3 years of relevant experience. 
• Experience in conducting data analysis related to IT capital planning, IT portfolio investments, and compliance with Federal IT regulations.
• Experience in process analysis and optimization, including the ability to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and develop performance metrics.
• Experience designing and implementing efficient reporting processes, systems, and procedures, including data collection and validation.  
• Proficiency in data visualizations tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar software, with a demonstrated ability to create clear and informative visualizations. 
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including customers, leadership, and technical teams, to understand reporting needs, modify existing reports, and develop new reporting products.
• Proven ability to effectively translate vague or evolving business requirements into clear and actionable data visualizations that provide valuable insights.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to develop and implement complex calculations and formulas to address specific business requirements and provide accurate and reliable data. 
• Preferred: A portfolio showcasing past data analysis and visualization projects, demonstrating the candidate's skills and experience in applying data to solve real-world problems. 

Required Clearance:

• US Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain & maintain Secret clearance.
• Interim secret is required to obtain prior to starting work.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
