SAIC is seeking a motivated, experienced individual to act as an integral part of a client's program.  As a member of the engineering team, the Azure DevOps Server Administrator is a critical contributor to the team's mission.  We specialize in leveraging Microsoft Azure DevOps to streamline our development processes and enhance collaboration across teams. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Azure DevOps Server Administrator to join our team and play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our Azure DevOps Server infrastructure.

Position Overview:

The Azure DevOps Server Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Azure DevOps Server on-premises environment. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure DevOps Server architecture, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and high availability of our development tools.  Forward thinking, automation and engagement with our CI\CD Modernization Team is a critical job function.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Install, configure, and maintain Azure DevOps Server infrastructure components including application servers, databases, and build agents.

·        Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide technical expertise in optimizing Azure DevOps Server configurations to support efficient CI/CD pipelines.

·        Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of Azure DevOps Server.

·        Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

·        Automate routine tasks and processes using PowerShell, Azure DevOps pipelines, or other scripting tools.

·        Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and system upgrades to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

·        Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to Azure DevOps Server administration.

·        Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on Azure DevOps Server usage, features, and integrations.

·        Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain a knowledge base for future reference.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

·        Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

·        Proven experience as a system administrator or DevOps engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure DevOps Server.

·        In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps Server architecture, installation, configuration, and administration.

·        Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, SQL Server, and IIS.

·        Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks.

·        Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

·        Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.

·        Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

·        Azure DevOps certification(s) such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert is a plus.


Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
