SAIC is seeking a Agile Master Scheduler to fill a critical position on SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS located in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program that supports the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), which is responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle. Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required for this role.

Job Responsibilities to include:

  • Serve as the technical expert for the development, maintenance, and assessment of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in support of Agile software acquisition activities.
  • Interact with Government project management and functional managers to define scope of work for projects, and develop and update detailed schedules and roadmaps.
  • Proactively develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules throughout the acquisition lifecycle, from initiation through planning, execution, and delivery phases.
  • Integrate developer schedules to generate and maintain an accurate Organization-level master schedule
  • Coordinate project level impact analyses of proposed engineering changes.
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identify any variances, and highlight developing problem areas.
  • Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-arounds.
  • Support Agile quarterly cyclic planning and delivery cadence for the program office.
  • Contribute to Agile process evolution across Government teams, development contractors, user engagement teams, and stakeholders based upon best practices for schedule management and Agile program management.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors in business, engineering, science, or related discipline and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance and Polygraph
  • Experience with developing & maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project or Jira
  • Experience with Agile methods (Scrum, SAFe, etc.) in a software development environment or formal Agile training
  • Ability to apply organizational, planning, management, problem solving & execution skills to multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prepare and present various types of reports to all levels of Management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
