Summary
The Senior Production Materials Manager provides leadership for the production or production support at a manufacturing environment for an entire shift. This position works closely with managers, supervisors and the customer to drive performance across an entire shift i.e. – 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
Essential Functions
- Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation. Production Material Analysis: provides strategic production material support and execution across an entire shift. Ensures business demands & KPIs are successfully met and anticipates production issues.
- Customer Relationship Management: participates in customer meetings, customer reviews and may present on Business Plan Deployment Progress to various stakeholders. Is seen as a main contact for the customer.
- Typical manager responsibilities pertaining to leading an entire production shift. Which could include shift level changes, collaboration across various shift leaders, possible Step 3 engagement meetings. Works closely with internal stakeholders on all items related to safety, people, operations, payroll, inventory, etc.
- Goal Tracking: Ensures Business Plan Deployment dashboards are updated across their entire shift. Strategizes and communicates progress effectively to customer and/or upper management.
- Conducts reporting analysis to identify and/or solve production issues by implementing/executing LEAN and CI activities across an entire shift operation.

Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
- One year or more managing customer interactions, preferred
- Five(5) years of managing, leading and developing direct reports, required
- Three (3) years of profit and loss responsibility, preferred
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field.
- Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations.
- Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements.

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
