SUMMARY

Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Quality Management System on accounts of diverse scope and magnitude including adherence to company and industry standards. Provides regular and proactive communication to customers and Ryder management. Supports continuous improvement efforts as needed

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Designs, implements, maintains and audits the Quality Management System based on established company and/or industry standards. Implements a standardized corrective action system

Reports the effectiveness of the Quality Management System at regular management meetings

Supports regulatory compliance and certification requirements

Assists in implementing and maintaining Customer Satisfaction Management Process

Performs all functions related to Quality Assurance for a start-up or expansion

Engage the operations team and the customer to ensure achievement of business objectives

Supports Continuous Improvement deployment using fundamentals of Lean and Six Sigma

Provide training on Quality Assurance topics to identified employees

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors

Applies judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

May lead Continuous Improvement projects as necessary

Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long range goals of the organization

Managing Diversity & Inclusion

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree Business/Engineering/Supply Chain or minimum of 8 years of related work experience.

EXPERIENCE

Seven (7) years or more experience Operational Management

Five (5) years or more experience Quality Management/Process Improvement

KNOWLEDGE

MS Office; advanced level.

MS Project Internal Audit/Corrective Action Systems software (e.g. JKT); advanced level; preferred.

Process Mapping and Standard Operating Procedures documentation and Project Management; advanced level; preferred.

LICENSES

Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (1 Year, preferred).

Other ASQ's Certified Quality Auditor (1 Year, preferred).

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.

Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type :

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

85000

Maximum Pay Range:

100000

The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
