Salary : $23.00/hr
Schedule : Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm
Summary
The Materials Process Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Materials department. This position will handle Shipping, Receiving, Engineering Change, Inventory Control and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Review/Respond to part Mins/shortages
- Responding to customer issues and communicating with issues back to Ryder Management
- Customer service and processing of administrative functions
- Must be able to work flexible work schedule as needed
- Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, work with a team
- Experienced in performing Inventory Counts
- Good attention to detail
- Must be a self-starter
- Must interact well with all levels at Ryder and the Customer Organizations
- Walk on Concrete floor for up to eight+ (8) hours a day
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Basic computer skills required such working with windows, using the task bar, minimize/maximize/close buttons, and highlight copy/paste
- GM MGO knowledge or experience is preferred
SKILLS
- Must be able to work flexible work schedule as needed
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills preferred
KNOWLEDGE
- Cross dock processes; intermediate level.
- Knowledge of appropriate computer applications to use for tracking and report information (Excel, Word, Ryder YMS, Cross Dock database); intermediate level.
EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Three (3) years or more previous experience in the department preferred
