Title: Senior Licensed Practical Nurse

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Nursing - Enterostomal Therapy Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Performs all duties of the Licensed Practical Nurse. Under the supervision of the Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed independent provider, assists in the development, evaluation, and modification of the care/treatment plan based on mutual goals with patient and caregiver. Facilitates patient access to appropriate interdisciplinary care providers as well as diagnostic and therapeutic services. Serve as a point of contact, advocate, and informational resource for patient, caregiver, providers, and other team members in the oncology setting. Ensures effective tracking of test results, medication management, and adherence to follow-up appointments. Provides patient centered education. Provides education to nursing and ancillary staff members. Serves as designated quality lead for nursing unit.

Salary range $58,046 - $70,317 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

License and Certification Requirement
License to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certifications from the American Heart Association.

Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing school's LPN program and four (4) years of nursing experience, including two (2) years of nursing experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting.

NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
