1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Works with and supports cancer center investigators and clinicians engaged in disparities-focused and community-based cancer control studies; provides services to facilitate campus-community partnerships, particularly for studies and programs that address local disparities in HPV vaccination coverage; oversees IRB processes; contributes to the preparation of grant applications, manuscripts, and presentations; participates in study design and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); manages and participates in research activities, which may include conducting participant recruitment within a patient population, participant interviews, visits, and focus groups, manages data collection, and reporting of study results. Primary duties include: 1) Develops study databases and enters qualitative and quantitative study data utilizing programs such as RedCap and Microsoft Excel; 2) Interacts with Roswell Park patients for recruitment and data collection purposes ; 3) Conducts interviews and focus groups.Salary range for this position is $57,247 - $72,203 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in a health or science related field; or
2. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time professional research experience in a scientific research environment.
NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have 3-5 yrs experience working in epidemiological research, experience working in population based research, experience working with study participants or in outreach, experience working with research databases, experience with study design and data QC, and experience with statistical methods.
