Title: Per-Diem MRI Technologist

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Diagnostic Radiology Time Type: Part time Weekly Hours: 8 FTE: 0.2 Shift: Variable (United States of America) Summary: This per-diem position operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes at minimal magnetic radio frequency dose.

Starting salary for this position is $38.72 hourly. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
License and Certification Requirements
1. License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
2. Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York.
3. Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Education and Experience
1. Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
2. Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited Institution and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
3. Associate's degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist; or
4. Equivalent experience gained by the completion of technical training as an MRI Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an approved school or training institution may be substituted for the above experience requirement.

NOTES:
1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
2. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title.
