Title: Pastoral Care Provider

FTE:

1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Functions within the interfaith Pastoral Care program and provides clinical pastoral services to Roswell Park inpatients, outpatients, and their families; assesses the need and desire for spiritual care to patients and their families and coordinates the provision of services with medical care and the element of care as provided by the Psychosocial Oncology department; conducts and participates in religious, liturgical and para-liturgical services in Roswell Park's Interfaith Chapel; serves as a resource for organization staff. The pay range for this position is $51,305 - $65,202 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Theological Studies or equivalent and at least one (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Care Education (CPE).

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have a Masters of Divinity or other Graduate degree in Pastoral / Theological Studies.  Eligibility for certification and the equivalent of two (2+) years of full-time pastoral care experience in a healthcare setting.  Additionally the preferred candidate will have experience working with Palliative Care and End of Life patients and Four (4) Units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
