Title: MRI Technologist

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Scott Bieler Amherst Center Radiology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes at minimal magnetic radio frequency dose.

The starting salary for this position which includes a geographic differential is $82,635 annually. This also includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

License Requirement
License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
1. Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
2. Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited Institution and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
3. Equivalent experience gained by the completion of technical training as an MRI Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an approved school or training institution may be substituted for the above experience requirement.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have recent GE MRI scanning experience, 3 years of MRI experience, and will be ARRT certified in MRI.
