Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Radiation Medicine Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Generates a clinically acceptable treatment plan, utilizing clinical knowledge including, but not limited to, anatomy and physiology; radiation biology and oncology; radiation safety and protection; mathematics; and radiation therapy techniques, physics, and technology. Communicates with the radiation oncologist during the treatment planning process and communicates the plan to the medical physicist and the radiation therapy technologist for implementation.Salary range for this position is $114,976 - $140,815 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. License and Certification Requirement
Current certification as a Medical Dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB).
NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experiences:
- Experience with Varian Eclipse TPS
- Experience with MOSAIQ R&V system
- Graduate of JRCERT certified school of Medical Dosimetry
- Experience with special procedures such as SBRT, TBI, Brachytherapy
