Title: Director, Perioperative Services

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Operating Room Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Assumes operational and functional responsibility for a group of patient care areas and/or special projects or initiatives; provides administrative and strategic leadership for performance management; assists the Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Operations Officer and/or the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer in executive-level management of resources and strategic planning to ensure operations are consistent with the mission and philosophy of the organization; identifies, advocates for, and builds capacity to utilize tools and methodologies required for quality improvement in a clinical setting; leads and executes process improvement initiatives to achieve operational efficiencies using Lean Six Sigma methodologies; works collaboratively with Roswell's executive leaders to integrate quality assurance and risk management activities throughout the organization. The starting salary for this position is $141,442 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

License Requirement
License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York

Education and Experience
1. Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in a comprehensive cancer center or complex academic/research medical center including one (1) year experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time experience in a comprehensive cancer center or complex academic/research medical center including one (1) year experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
