Title: Director, Nutrition and Food Services

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Nutrition & Food Service Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Manages all aspects of food service in the organization including patient meals and cafeteria operations; coordinates and delegates specific job duties and responsibilities to all nutrition and cafeteria staff; ensures all food services to inpatients, outpatients, employees and visitors are prepared in a clean and safe environment.Salary range for this position is $ 111,925 - $141,439 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Certification Requirement
Service Safety or HACCP (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points) certification.
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Food Management, Business Management or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of prior full-time experience as a Nutritional Services provider including eighteen (18) months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
2. Associate's degree in Food Management, Business Management or a related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of prior full-time experience as a Nutritional Services provider including eighteen (18) months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have the following skills/experiences:
- Experience managing food service operations in an acute care hospital
- Experience in retail and catering food service management
- Experience managing a room service model for patient feeding
- Experience using food service software to manage operations
- Procurement/GPO/RFP experience
- Cash handling /POS oversight experience
- TJC/CMS/DOH survey lead experience
- Experience managing clinical nutrition services
